Drummer Ben Wittman is another graduate from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston where he studied with Bob Moses, Freddie Waits and Milford Graves. His special interests include Latin, Brazilian, and African drumming, leading to an extended visit of Ghana where he studied drumming and played with African musicians. He has performed with Claudio Roditi, Gary Valente, Tiger Okoshi, George Russell, Mike Gibbs, Jerome Harris, Mike Metheny, Bob Moses and Livingston Taylor. He has also played with the Count Basie Orchestra & New York Voices at Carnegie Hall, and has produced Bob Moses' most recent album Time Stood Still and both albums by The Story.
