Christian Meaas Svendsen (b.1988) from Kongsberg, graduated from The Norwegian Academy of Music and is currently studying classical music. He made himself notable on the improvised music scene both as a leader and as a sideman for different projects. As a bassist he is curious, challenging and innovative, and works towards becoming a distinctive musician as well as a combiner of the classical, contemporary, free and rhythmic music tradition.
