Guitarist Ketil Gutvik (b. 1972) has rocked the jazz and improvised music scene in Oslo since the mid-nineties. The list of collaborations and constellations with both Norwegian and international improvisers is long and powered by a pushing urge which has resulted in the longstanding concert series Fritt Fall and Gutvik Ukentlig. Some of Gutvik’s most significant projects are the duo with the British improviser John Russel, trio with Lasse Marhaug and Børre Mølstad and the trio No, Gutvik.
