Didier Lockwood enters upon a research of sound with the instrument which he possesses so totally, yet whose possibilities seem infinite when in his hands. Nor does he ever abandon human contact experiences; encounters with all sorts of musicians as divers as Jacques Higelin, Marc Ducret, or particularly Stèphane Grappelli to whom he will always be the most important of all his spiritual sons.
