Vossa Jazz is a jazz festival held in Voss in the western part of Norway the weekend before Easter. The festival focuses on innovation, quality and the musical profile encompasses world music and traditional folk music in addition to different jazz genres. Tingingsverket (The Main Comissioned Work) and other comissions is an important part of the festival – Vossa Jazz wants to contribute to the evolution and growth of the Norwegian jazz scene.
