The exuberant Hot Club of Cowtown make a very welcome return to Turner Sims with their infectious blend of hot jazz and Western swing. Hot Club weave a combination of seemingly disparate styles together to magical effect – a joyful blend of danceable, swinging vivaciousness, full of raw joy and authentic energy.
It takes considerable bravery to name your band after one of the greatest jazz ensembles of the last century. Hot Club get away with it because they have spirit, originality and skill that would surely have impressed Stephane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt back in 1930s. The Guardian
