Originally conjured up by pianist Henry Hey (David Bowie, Empire of the Sun) and Michael League (founder of Snarky Puppy), the Allstar-Band Forq from New York released what was already its third album in 2017. Meanwhile, Kevin Scott (Wayne Krantz, John McLaughlin) mans the bass instead of League, otherwise everything remains the same: groovier, dynamic sound, that tends to merge into rockier sequences and live-shows full of playing enthusiasm, daredevil and energy.
