Dunlap Roy

Roy Dunlap began playing professionally at age 14. He attained a Masters Degree in Piano at Queens college in New York City studying with Sir Roland Hanna. Roy has toured throughout the US and Europe. Highlights include performing at the world's top Jazz festivals and venues including the Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, Berlin Jazz Festival in Germany, the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands, Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy, JVC Festival in New York City, Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa Jazz Festival, the Jacksonville Jazz festival and The Hollywood Bowl.

Roy has worked and/or recorded with Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Wes Anderson, Madeline Peyroux, Al Street, Ian Hendrickson-Smith, The Artie Shaw Orchestra, Jack Jones, Doug Wamble, Herb Harris, Buddy DeFranco, Marcus Printup, Bunky Green, Dr Eddie Henderson.
