ARTMUSFAIR The Art of Music Fair

ARTMUSFAIR is a European music creators' convention dedicated to the source of contemporary music - the Art Music composers and their representative organisations in Europe.
ARTMUSFAIR equally addresses all music professionals, organisations and their networks who are active in the specific field of Art Music in Europe.
To all of them ARTMUSFAIR serves as an ideal networking opportunity and is offering a music fair for creative exchange, communication and presentation, distribution and performance. The principal objective is to bring composers into personal contact with relevant music professionals so that they can work more closely together, stimulate innovative thinking and encourage the development for future areas of cooperation.

Under this theme, the first ARTMUSFAIR is to be launched as part of the “Nordic Music Days 2008” in Helsinki/Finland from 02nd - 05th October 2008 with the following main elements to the programme:

Trade show stands enable participants to display and exhibit their music, their scores and/or CD's, their organisation, their projects, and a whole range of other information that they would like to share and exchange with other composers, performers and musicians, music promoters, agents and managers, publishers, musicologists, students, journalists and funding agencies from all around Europe;
