Waldo Chavez was born in Germany but is a citizen of El Salvador. He Began his Musical studies at the New School in New York City. He later obtained a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Waldo has spent the last eleven years in New York City playing, recording, and touring with dozens of artists in several styles. He is founding member of the acclaimed Latin-Jazz band "Timbalaye."
