For the ambitious music event on November 14th – the aim is to network and strengthen relationships between Danish and German musicians and industry professionals. To further intrigue the German promoters, Nordic kitchen flavors will be prepared – to inspire and inspired by the sound of the individual bands.
The Danish Vibes event will take place at the newly reopened legendary music venue Mojo Club located in the heart of Hamburg, 14th of November 2013. The music acts that performs have been hand picked by Hamburg’s leading concert promoters and radio programmers. The program will be kicked off by a collaboration project between Danish and German Music Conservatory Students with Danish trumpet legend Palle Mikkelborg, topped off with Danish DJ Spejderrobot and lounge atmosphere.
The participating bands are: Girls in Airports, Claus Waidtløw Quartet, Mzungu Kichaa and Tako Lako.
Industry representatives from the Danish Music Scene amongst them Roskilde Festival, Copenhagen Jazz Festival and ROSA will attend the event to meet and greet their German colleagues.
Danish Vibes is an integrated collaboration between key partners in Hamburg and Heart-Link Management in Denmark and is supported by the Danish Jazz federation, World Music Denmark, City of Copenhagen and Statens Kunstråd (Part of the Danish Ministry of Culture).
