The music, led by the saxophonist João Pedro Brandão, takes its inspiration from the traditional sounds of the Mediterranean, then put through a jazz 'filter' Eleven new generation musicians from Porto formed Coreto Porta-Jazz, which has emerged from the association of the same name with the aim of creating a 'space' in which to explore and consolidate an original and experimental repertoire.
